16 spatialized loudpseakers, 4 men in top-hat, 2 hours of epic Cine-concert: you are about to travel back in time.Fritz Lang’s silent movie Mabuse der Spieler is a visionary masterpiece, giving the vilain the first role, foretelling the rule of an empire of crime, through murder, blackmail and hypnosisGaëtan Boudy & Clément Hauvette have heard the call, and like sleepwalkers they have seized their instruments, plugged in devices unknown to man and composed the psychedelic soundtrack Mabuse deserves : a fully immersive experience, with a spatialization of sound designed by Jules Wysocki.

About me

Left Side of the Moon is a small workshop of instinctive luthery based in Jatxou/bask country/France, in the core of the alternative farm to table project Aukera.

All instruments are inspired by nature, farming tools and serendipity. The first idea leads the way to the components that will allow to build the musical tool.

The shapes appears by making it and most of instruments are pretty special to play with and force the musician to explore a different way of playing adapting to the instrument rather than the opposite.
